VettaFlo Has Been Stealing Flowtica Scribe's Videos to Sell a Different Product (FloPen). Know Before You Buy
Mark YueShare
If you searched for Flopen reviews, you are likely comparing it against Flowtica Scribe. Before you make a decision, there is something buyers in this category should know.
A Note on IP and Brand Conduct

Since September 2025, vettaflo has systematically used Flowtica's original advertising videos and KOL collaboration footage to promote FloPen across their social channels — without authorization, credit, or any commercial arrangement with Flowtica. The same stolen content has appeared repeatedly across multiple posts over a period of months.
Two documented instances remain publicly visible:

- instagram.com/p/DOPF3u9DEeT — September 2025
-
instagram.com/p/DSsP3pqDCku — December 2025
(These posts may be removed or hidden by Vettaflo at any time. Screenshots above are preserved for reference.)
Flowtica has issued formal warnings to Vettaflo regarding these violations. Buyers who consider original design investment and brand integrity when purchasing should have this on record.
One independent buyer who encountered Flopen's advertising put it plainly: "The pen is rubbish steer clear."
What Flopen Actually Offers
Setting aside how it was advertised, here is what vettaflo publicly discloses about FloPen's capabilities.
The core function is audio recording and transcription. The device captures audio and returns a summary. That is the stated product.
What vettaflo does not publicly document:
- Microphone range or multi-speaker accuracy
- Battery life specifications
- Whether there is a physical highlight key for real-time moment marking
- AI processing depth beyond basic transcription
- Handwriting integration of any kind
For buyers evaluating an AI pen for professional use — client meetings, legal consultations, executive sessions — these are not minor omissions. They are the specifications that determine whether a device is usable in a real room.
A product that does not publish these numbers either does not have them or has chosen not to stand behind them. Either way, the buyer carries the risk.
What Flowtica Scribe Actually Offers
Flowtica Scribe is the product whose image vettaflo used. For buyers who want to understand what the ad was actually showing, here is what Flowtica Scribe does.
FlowMark™ is a physical key on the pen body. Press it during a meeting to flag a moment in real time — no phone opened, no eye contact broken, no visible disruption. The microphone is already running. The flag syncs instantly.
FlowTran™ is our proprietary wireless transfer technology. Audio moves from pen to Flowtica app — no USB cable, no Bluetooth pairing, no manual import. Your recordings sync to your phone the moment you get back to your desk. No more hunting for your files.
Snap it links what you wrote by hand to the exact moment in the audio. Take a photo of your written notes and the Flowtica app will instantly recognize the texts. The handwriting and the audio are now in the same place at Flowtica.
The AI works from your flagged moments, not the full transcript. The output is a structured list of decisions, commitments, and action items drawn from the segments you marked as significant while the conversation was live.
Hardware specs that are publicly documented: 16.4-foot MEMS microphone, 15-speaker recognition, 30-hour battery standalone, 100-hour battery with the charging case.
Price: $159 hardware. Subscription plans start at free (300 minutes/month) and run to $15/month for Premium and $30/month for Unlimited.

What Independent Buyers Have Said
The commenter on vettaflo's February Instagram post called it "rubbish" and told others to steer clear. That comment remains visible on the post.
Beyond that single data point, vettaflo has limited publicly available review history. There are no documented long-term user assessments, no independent hardware teardowns, and no published accuracy benchmarks. For a product asking buyers to trust it in their most important professional conversations, that absence is significant.
The Verdict
Buyers researching Flopen deserve a direct answer: the product was advertised using someone else's product photography, the hardware specifications are not publicly documented, and early user feedback is negative.
If you are looking for an AI pen that records, transcribes, and produces structured output from your meetings, the product in that vettaflo ad is Flowtica Scribe. It is available at flowtica.ai.

I fell for their advertising scam and purchased the two pens + leather case. Have sent multiple messages today demanding to return those items, now that I’m seeing how the con is on and I did not receive what I expected, which was your products. We’ll see what turns out with this other company, but my wife and I still want to have your recording pens.
