Scribe records through its studio-grade microphone. For in-person meetings it captures the room directly, up to 16.4 ft (5 m) and up to 15 speakers. For phone, Zoom, or Teams calls, put the call on speakerphone so the pen picks up both sides; it records through the mic rather than tapping into the call signal. The app transcribes and summarizes after the session.

Recording never starts on its own. It begins only when you press the button. Your recordings and app data are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in the United States, and never sold. Flowtica does not use your conversations to train its AI models without your explicit consent, and the limited service providers it uses are contractually barred from training their own foundational models on your data. You can export or delete your data.

Scribe uses a studio-grade MEMS microphone that captures up to 15 distinct speakers within 16.4 ft (5 m), across 39 languages. Each voice needs about 30 seconds of audio to be tagged; once tagged, the speaker is labeled automatically in later transcripts. It handles accents well. Heavy crosstalk in a loud room is harder, as with any recorder, so move the pen closer.

Yes. Scribe writes on paper with standard gel ink while it records audio at the same time; the writing and the recording run simultaneously but independently. No cable, no manual steps. FlowTran transfers the audio over a local wireless connection (not the cloud) while you record, so when you end the session the transcript is already waiting in the app.

Yes. The pen records on its own without your phone beside it. When you are back in Bluetooth range, FlowTran transfers the audio to the app. On Android, keep the app running in the background during transfer.
